Clapdale Wool tweed cloth and blankets is made from a blend of wool from the Dalesbred breed of sheep. Sourced from three farms in the Yorkshire Dales with farmers paid £1 a kg for their raw wool, and receiving a profit share of everything made from it.

This is a short video showing the weaving and washing of our blankets at Yorkshire mill Mallaliues of Delph, followed by the finished blankets back at Glencroft’s warehouse in the Dales village of Clapham.
