For as long as anyone can remember, Crantit Dairy, owned by the Bichan family on the wild and beautiful land of Orkney, has taken daily delivery of fresh, creamy milk from the local cows. There are few places in the world where the grazing is as pure and pollution-free as it is on Orkney and it shows in the richness of the cream. Orcadians have always known about the quality of our local produce but a few years ago we decided our cream deserved wider appreciation, so we started using it to make Orkney Ice Cream. Today you can buy Orkney Ice Cream in 17 flavours and we’re always exploring for more, but whatever flavour you choose, it’s the cream that makes the difference.
