Our family run distillery in the Outer Hebrides produces some of Scotland’s very finest artisan spirits including the multi award winning Downpour Gin range and our soon to launch Nunton Whisky.

Situated in the heart of the Uists, we are in perfect reach for all gin and whisky enthusiasts.  Our home, Nunton Steadings, is a traditional 18th century U shaped steadings, steeped in history where a a warm Island welcome awaits.

We started North Uist Distillery in 2019, the result of a long held dream to build a vibrant new distillery on our island home. Now year five into production, we are overjoyed to have been awarded Scottish Gin Distillery of the year for the third consecutive year.

Our gin range is bursting with botanicals, drenching you in bold Hebridean flavours, something for everyone and every occasion.
